Organized, Creative, and Timely. Those are just a few of the words that come to mind if you were to ever witness Carla Chapple in action in the Christian world. Someone once said, “Expect her to bring it!”
Carla has a love for God and a love for learning. She became ‘saved’ (born again) in 1995 and was brought to love the Word of God. After her initial in filling of the Holy Spirit in September of 2006, she began the journey of fulfilling God’s purpose for her life.
Journaling since childhood, she has been told that writing was not only in her genes but in her future. She uses it as a an effort to draw closer to God. She knew that ‘writing’ in the usual sense wasn’t exactly her purpose. She believed that God would reveal to her a vision that would be uniquely tailored to her purpose and gifts.
Fortunately for her, it came at a time when she began to question her professional purpose in the automotive industry, along with her purpose of personal and spiritual growth. This led her on a journey of discovery that would reveal her gifts as a writer, motivational speaker, and administrator in the Christian world. It’s this journey that led her to encourage the hearts and minds of other Christians using unique spiritual exercises that would teach them how to spend more time developing a closer relationship with God.
Carla is the author of the new book, “Seek His Face: Speaking God’s Joy and Peace Into Your Life”--conceived as a way to acquaint readers with the very personal side of God’s love, joy and peace.
Carla is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was formally educated at The Pennsylvania State University. She holds an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a graduate Masters Degree in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix.
Outside of the Christian world, Carla has contributed writings to the KDKA-TV2, WTAE-4, Fox Sports, NABJ- National Black Journalist, the Black Journalist of Southern California, the National Black MBA Association Inc., and the National Black MBA Association Inc.-Los Angeles Chapter. In addition, Carla poetry writings has been published and awarded by the National Poetry Association.
She is a member of Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles, California. She enjoys fulfilling her purpose in life through helping Christians achieve their highest potential in life simply by standing firm on the Word of God. Carla has a true devotion in life to encourage others in their pursuit toward a personal and intimate relationship with God. Seek His Face is her first published work, and she is presently considering other writing projects.
